Mark years of service or a completed term of service with a certificate image that puts the service period and the role front and center, using your exact dates.
One generated certificate image honoring a period of service, with the recipient, the role or service, the exact period and your organization. It is a commemorative image, not proof of employment. Check the name, dates and any milestone number before presenting it.
Month-precise period, long role description, no milestone line
Recipient's name
Beatriz Konstantinidou-Reyes
Service, role or project
Parish council treasurer and coordinator of the Tuesday community pantry, St. Brendan's Hall, Millford Green
Service period
September 1998 – August 2026
Presenting organization
Millford Green Parish Council
Milestone line (optional)
Left empty
A full month-to-month period with no milestone number, and a role that runs across two lines. Checks that no years figure is calculated and added, and that the role is not shortened.
Same task, three directions
Pick a direction to start from.
01
Milestone numeral
A large numeral inside a ribbon or wreath carries the milestone, with the service period directly beneath it.
02
Engraved plaque feel
Dark background and metallic lettering, as if engraved, for a certificate presented at a long-service dinner.
03
Community service warm
A softer layout for clubs, faith groups and associations honoring years of service.
What the template keeps
The parts that stay consistent.
01
Period in the spotlight
The service period and any milestone number are given more visual weight than on a general appreciation certificate.
02
Your numbers only
Years are never calculated from the dates, so the certificate says exactly what you entered.
03
Commemorative, not official
No insignia, stamps or verification wording that would turn it into something it is not.
How to use it
From details to a result.
01
Enter the name and the role served
Describe the service the way your organization refers to it, from a job title to a volunteer office.
02
Type the period exactly
Use the dates as they should appear, years only or month and year. Nothing is recalculated.
03
Add a milestone line if you want one
A line such as "25 Years of Service" becomes the large emblem. Leave it empty for a period-only design.
04
Review, send and check the numbers
The brief opens in Vizify for review. After generating, compare the name, dates and milestone with your records.
Output boundaries
What to check before you use it.
This is a commemorative image, not proof of employment, a reference letter or an official service record.
AI-rendered numbers and dates can be wrong. Check the milestone, the period and the recipient's name before presenting it.
The output is one raster image with no editable text layer, and it is not a PDF or Word template.
A supplied logo is redrawn and may not match your brand artwork exactly.
Aspect ratios are directions rather than paper sizes, and there is no print bleed.
QuestionsCan a certificate of service be used as proof of employment?+
No. It is a commemorative design. Employers, lenders and agencies that ask for proof of employment usually need a signed letter or record from HR, not a decorative certificate.
Can I show the number of years in a big numeral?+
Yes. Type it in the milestone line, for example "25 Years of Service", and choose the Milestone numeral direction. The number is shown exactly as you type it.
Does it work as a certificate for service in a church, club or volunteer role?+
Yes. Describe the role in the service field and use your group's name as the organization. For volunteer programs that track hours, the volunteer certificate template has a field for that.
What if I only know the start year?+
Write the period as you want it to read, such as "Since 2011". The template does not fill in missing dates or work out a total.
Can I make matching certificates for everyone with a service anniversary this year?+
Run the template once per person with the same direction, changing the name, role, period and milestone. Check each result on its own, because text can vary between runs.
