How do I remove the background from an image?

Can the result have a transparent background?

You can request transparency. Vizify should ask for PNG alpha and inspect the artifact when possible, but a generative image model does not guarantee that every result contains a real alpha channel.

Can I create a clean white product background?

Yes. Choose White and identify any product geometry, label, reflection, or contact shadow that should remain unchanged.

Which images work best for background removal?

Clear product photos, portraits, animals, logos, and graphics work best when the subject is distinguishable from the background. Strong overlap, motion blur, or very low resolution makes the boundary more ambiguous.

Can it preserve hair, fur, glass, or smoke?

Ask for those elements explicitly and inspect the result closely. A generative model may reconstruct fine hair, fur, transparency, reflections, smoke, and soft shadows instead of producing a pixel-perfect mask.

Not always. This is a semantic image edit rather than a deterministic clipping-path or segmentation service, so difficult edges and semi-transparent materials may need another pass.
