Same task, three directions

Pick a direction to start from.

01

Classic bordered certificate

An ornamental border, serif type and a ribbon seal shape, for spas, restaurants and golf clubs.

02

Bakery kraft tag

Kraft-paper texture and hand-drawn pastries, for cafes and bakeries that want a homemade feel.

03

Modern minimal

A clean layout with one brand color, for studios, salons and online shops that send certificates by email.

What the template keeps

The parts that stay consistent.

01

The gift is the headline

What the recipient gets is the most prominent detail after your business name.

02

Your numbers, exactly

Values, currency, dates and terms are copied, never invented or rounded.

03

Nothing that looks redeemable

No barcodes, QR codes or card numbers, only lines to fill in yourself.

How to use it

From details to a result.

  1. 01

Name your business and the gift

Say exactly what the certificate covers, such as a service, an item or an amount.

  2. 02

Add an expiry and terms if they apply

Use only terms you have confirmed for your location. Leave expiry empty if it does not expire.

  3. 03

Choose lines to fill by hand

To, From or a certificate number stay as blank lines, so you can track what you issue.

  4. 04

Review, generate and check every number

Review everything in Vizify before sending. After generating, compare amounts, dates and terms with your notes.

Output boundaries

What to check before you use it.

  • Amounts, dates and terms can come out with wrong characters. Check every number and symbol before printing or sending.
  • The certificate has no balance, code or payment link and is not connected to any till or booking system. You track redemptions yourself.
  • It is an image, not a print-ready file with bleed or exact card dimensions. Print a test copy first.
  • An uploaded logo is redrawn and may not match your official file.
  • Each request makes one design. Numbered sets or batches are not produced.
Questions
Is this free gift card template really free?

Setting up the certificate brief on this page is free. Generating it requires signing in to Vizify, and your account's current access and credit rules apply.

Can customers redeem it online or check a balance?

No. It is a picture of a certificate, with no card number, barcode, QR code or balance, and it is not linked to any payment system. Track issued certificates yourself, for example with numbered lines filled in by hand.

Can I design a gift certificate for a golf course or a bakery?

Yes. Describe the gift in your own words, such as a round for two with cart or $25 toward pastries, and the decoration follows your business. A golf club gets greens and a flag; a bakery gift certificate gets bread and pastry details.

Can I print it?

You can print the image on your own printer or card stock. It is not a print-ready file with bleed or crop marks, so print a test copy and check the size, sharpness and every amount.

Do I need to include terms or an expiry date?

Rules for gift certificates, including whether they may expire, vary by location. Add only terms you have confirmed and leave expiry empty if it does not apply.
