Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1 sit at opposite ends of Vizify’s video catalog. Seedance 2.5 exposes nearly every setting the catalog tracks: length from 4 to 30 seconds, 480p to 1080p, seven framing choices including adaptive and 21:9, and audio that is on by default but can be switched off. Veo 3.1 exposes almost none — each clip is 8 seconds at 720p with its own audio, and the only choices are framing (Auto, 16:9, or 9:16) and up to two reference images.
Be careful when reading figures from elsewhere. Other sources may quote higher Veo 3.1 resolutions, but Vizify’s create request returns the native 720p result, and the upgrade steps that would raise it are not offered here. The numbers on this page are the ones Vizify actually requests.
The trade-off is predictability against control. If the edit is already cut around an 8-second shot with sound, Veo 3.1 removes every decision but the prompt. If you need a longer take, a silent clip, a 1080p render, or a brief anchored by many reference images or short clips, Seedance 2.5 is the one that allows it.
