When GLM-5.3 arrived it replaced GLM-5.1 and GLM-5.2 at the top of the GLM line, which changed the most useful comparison for DeepSeek V4 Pro. The GLM-5.1 version of this page stays up because GLM-5.1 is still selectable; this page covers the newer pairing.
Access and input have not moved. Both models need Pro or a credit pack, both take text only, and both return text. What moved is reasoning. GLM-5.1 had an on/off toggle, while GLM-5.3 uses graded effort — low, high, or max. DeepSeek V4 Pro also has three steps, but its scale begins at off, so it is the only one of the two that can answer without reasoning.
If image input matters, neither model here is the answer. The GLM family covers it through GLM-5.3 Flash and FlashX on the Z.ai page; no DeepSeek model in Vizify currently accepts images.
